Waffen-SS 'Horst Wessel' Collar Tab

Waffen-SS Collar Tab (Kragenspiegel) as intended for a member within the '18. SS Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division Horst Wessel'.
The division was formed in December 1943 and surrendered to the Soviets in May 1945. The division has served in the Balkans throughout its existence, taking part in actions against the partisans and against the Soviets.

The collar-tab originates almost certainly from the SS clothing department at the Dachau KZ when liberated in 1945. The collar-tab is in good unissued condition
