Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' ( Identity card )

In 1941, every Dutch citizen receives an identity card. Everyone is required to carry this document in public. The identity card contains a photo, a signature and a fingerprint. The document is the most advanced identity card in Europe and is difficult to counterfeit.
