The buckle is maker marked with the early logo by the 'FLL' company, it is complete with its original leather tab, maker marked by the company of 'Friedrich Linden' (FLL) from Lüdenscheid and dated 1938.

An excellent and early example of a Wehrmacht Heer officer’s visor cap (Schirmmütze), produced in 1937 by Schlesische Mützenfabrik, Frankenstein.
