World War II Period modified US M3 Colt M1911 Shoulder Holster. Light brown leather shoulder holster for the Colt M1911 .45 pistol.
Adopted in 1942, this holster was standard issue for aircraft and tank crews but also became popular in other armed services of the US Army including paratroopers

The leather holster is maker marked by 'Enger Kress'.
