Luftwaffe Erkennungsmarke (EKM) 4 FL.AUSB.RGT 72

A very nice EKM with its original pouch belonging to a soldier from the 4th Kompanie, Flieger Ausbildungsregiment 72.

In August of 1942 it was renamed to Flieger Regiment 62, then it got moved to France in November 1942 where it was stationed in Montpellier.

Then it was also renamed to Luftwaffe Feld Division 10, and then it was put into action in Leningrad.

In November 1943 it became part of the Wehrmacht Heer and its name was changed to 10 Feld Division.

It fought in Oranienbaum until it got disbanded in February 1944.

The remains of the division were transferred to the 170th Infantrie division which fought at Narwa, Suwalki, Ostpreussen and Hela.

Overall a great EKM with alot of history!
