Winterhulp Nederland (WHN) Collecting Tin (1942)

Original collection box of Winterhulp Nederland.. Winterhulp Nederland was a foundation established on October 22, 1940 by Reichskommissar Seyss-Inquart. According to article 2 the aim was: “It is the task of the Foundation to provide help and support to the needy Dutch citizens living in the occupied Dutch territory without regard to persons”. The support for people consisted of vouchers and goods such as food, clothing, etc.
