Scarce Early WWII 1940 Dated Wehrmacht Practice Stick Grenade
Very rarely encountered, a Second World War German M24 Practice stick grenade or "Potato Masher" . The warhead was painted a reddish terracotta colour with holes drilled in it to make it easily identifiable as a training/practice grenade. Very few now survive. This example is marked with the makers code, military acceptance WaA65 and date stamp of 1940
