''Nuts" Bastogne Plaque
To commemorate the siege of Bastogne during the famous Battle of the Bulge some brass plaques were made by a foundry in Couvin, Belgium
This is the typeII version
The type II version has a much more finished look stippled fields and an engraved border
The plaque was given out post war by the city of Bastogne. These plaques where made by a froundry in Couvin, Belgium in the 70’s by melting down artillery shell casings left behind from the battle of Bastogne.
