Wehrmacht -Heer Medical Waffenrock.....Top Condition

The first Waffenrock was produced in the year 1935. It was made of fine Feldgraue wool and consisted of eight buttons with no external pockets. The Waffenrock was characterized by a uniform color finish, in this case Kornblumenblau (medical component) on the collar, front closure, back and sleeves. On the right forearm we find the Sanitätsabzeichen (Äskulapstab). This Äskulapstab was awarded after following and passing a six-month education and training during which one became an official Sanitäter within the Wehrmacht
