The staff of the pilot-in-command of the Baltic Sea was installed in Swinemünde on April 1, 1941, near Air Fleet 1. In June 1941 the staff moved to Metgethen and in August 1941 to Riga
On October 27, 1941, the office was disbanded, the staff became the staff of the Fliegerführer Süd. The coastal aircraft group 806 was transferred to Italy to the air fleet 2, the coastal aircraft group 506 went west to the air fleet 3 and the staff of the sea reconnaissance group 125 transferred to the air fleet 4 in the Black Sea.
