The cap belonged to an Enlisted Men in the 124th Infantrie regiment ( 6th Württemberg 'king Wilhelm 1'. like the WW1 box and uniform set listed aswell.
This regiment got created in 01-06-1673 during the Franco-Dutch war and saw action for hundreds of years , in some very well known battles ( Napoleonic war, Argonne forest in WW1 ).
The regiment is mostly known for a very famous member, Erwin rommel, Field-Marshal to be joined and fought in this Regiment in WW1.
